In My Mailbox #8

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi over at the Story Siren!

I haven't read "Hunger Games" yet, but if it's as good as everyone says it is, I know I will need "Catching Fire" at the ready! Luckily it just came out on Sept 1st! I think I am going to start this series right after I finish up the "Uglies" series!

Catching Fire (Hunger Games, #2)
by Suzanne Collins

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

  9. Oh My!!! The Hunger Games was my favorite book for last year and Catching Fire did an excellent job of keeping me enthralled. These books continue to stay with you long after they have been read.

  14. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are both amazing books. Make sure you have a whole day to read all day when you start. I know I started The Hunger Games the weekend before finals last semester and just read through the whole night... So pick the right time. But yeah, they rock =)
